KK is a dedicated health coach who empowers women in midlife to overcome joint pain, manage weight gain, and achieve truly restful sleep. Her approach is rooted in both personal experience and a deep passion for helping others live vibrant, pain-free lives. After being forced to quit a full time job because of debilitating joint pain and witnessing her mother struggle with pain and autoimmune disease, KK developed a lifelong commitment to understanding health on a deeper level. These experiences shaped her mission: to help women avoid unnecessary suffering and take control of their well-being. KK brings compassion, relatability, and practical guidance to every client she serves. She believes that it's never too late to feel better, move better, and sleep better. A proud mother of five and grandmother of four, KK lives in Hoschton, Georgia, with her husband Carl, and their beloved mini Goldendoodle, Ted.
About a year ago, I had to make one of the hardest decisions of my life - walking away from a job I truly loved. From the outside, everything looked fine. But behind the scenes, I was struggling. The pain had become constant. So intense that I relied on pain medication just to get through the day. I was not sleeping. I had gained weight. And some nights, I would sit in my car after work…. Just crying. I felt stuck in a body that wasn’t cooperating with me anymore.
I tried everything I thought I was “supposed” to do. Six weeks of physical therapy, hands on treatment, intermittent fasting, restrictive diets and more workouts. Some things helped… but nothing lasted. The pain always came back. And the more I pushed, the worse my body seemed to respond.
I finally reached a point where I understood that something had to change. It wasn’t just about what I was eating - it was about how I was living day to day. I began to notice how my habits were affecting me, from eating too late at night to not getting enough rest and carrying constant stress without really addressing it. That’s when it clicked. I needed to be more intentional with my choices - eating better, setting boundaries, creating a healthier sleep routine, and find ways to reduce stress. What made the biggest impact on my life though was realizing I wasn’t alone!
Instead of pushing my body, I started listening to it. I focused on small, sustainable habits. Nourishing my body with real, whole foods. Supporting instead of fighting it. And slowly…things began to change. I started feeling better, moving better and sleeping better. Not overnight. Not perfectly. But consistently. What I know now is this; your body isn’t working against you - it’s asking for something different. So many people go through the same struggles, trying to figure out how to feel better and live healthier. This realization made me want to help others so they didn’t have to suffer unnecessarily.
